Travis is the owner and operator of Artisan Arborist Tree Care, LLC. Travis graduated high school in 2006 and left for the US Marine Corps soon after. He served over seas and ultimately served 5 years in the USMC before being medically discharged. After the military Travis ended up in the tree industry using his management and coordination skills from the military to lead crews. This is where he found his new passion; tree climbing and the tree industry. As a contract climber Travis traveled all over preforming hazardous tree removals, crane assisted tree removals, large tree pruning and educational data/seed collection. Travis decided to attend college and was accepted into Paul Smiths College in the Adirondack Mountains in New York. During his time in college Travis was a teacher’s assistant in the climbing classes because of his vast knowledge and up to date climbing techniques. He was also a tutor for arboriculture classes. Travis graduated in 2016 with an associates degree in Arboriculture and Landscape Management. After Travis graduated he was offered several positions with other companies but decided he wanted to build a company and bring a higher quality of work to the south central PA area. Starting with just a truck, trailer and climbing equipment and growing it to the company we are today Travis is always looking to advance his company with equipment that better serves his customers. Travis has added Father to his resume with the birth of his son Ozzy in 2021.
